We are very average and 8-10 is where this team belongs in my opinion, when you never can string 2 good matches together, it shows. Either this team have insanely intense training sessions every day or they are just lazy.

As the sheer lack of pressing and intensity looks like a team either not capable to run or they do not bother for their manager

Yeah it’s very evident, that this playing style cant cope playing mid week as well.

not when we have a paper thin squad and a manager who will point blank refuse to use it anyway. Those subs are laughable let alone with how late they came.

Some utterly brainless play there in the latter stages, really frustrating.

Too many players playing in their shell IMO. Choosing to play the obvious pass in the attacking areas rather than trying something different. Son and Johnson guilty of it throughout the whole match. Just no personality to their performances.

Werner, for all his faults, can often look like the only wide man who wants to even try anything.

Ref was fucking attrocious. The look of absolute disgust on his face when he had to give Cairney a red was blatant.

Maddison didn't create much for 85 minutes - he wasn't going to suddenly switch it on when he was facing a defence that's entrenched.

Same old. One week good, one week bad. I accept we will be inconsistent while working out our project but its every other week and needs to be addressed by Ange. Yes we had players out but the ones on the field were more than capable of beating Fulham. Another missed chance to play catch up on those above us.

The ones on the pitch look dead on their feet. What else could he have done, what change could he have made that would have produced a better performance? We need more depth and until he gets that, this is what we will get.

Outplayed at home, again. No defensive structure, again. You can have games where the attacking play doesn't click, but we're becoming the easiest team in the league to play against.

The reality is that, apart from when we play City - when we transform into prime 2011 Barcelona - we very much look like a "best of the rest" team - not nearly enough control of the game, or strong enough at the back, to be considered a real contender.

Definitely feeling like a 6th - 10th finish again this season. Absolutely desperate to win the League Cup.
