Seems a long time since the halcyon days under prime Poch when we used to just dominate for 90 minutes in 80% of games.

A real lack of energy all round so far, I'd be inclined to throw on some youthful fresh legs along with Kulu if things don't change.

I don’t think we can afford to take Sarr off because without him we’d be even more open. Maddison though needs to stay on too. So unsure who Kulu comes on for unless we play him out wide.

We're a poorly coached team.
That’s really harsh. Then again if you are wanting the manager sacked, then fair play to sticking to your guns.

Question: What coach would do better with this same set of players today? No striker. No backup striker. Best midfielder banned. Starting CBs out. Only two decent players on the bench. (Seriously… look at their bench compared to ours today). What magical unicorn manager is out there that would Harry Potter this drum of shit into a vat of gold?

Sorry, but this gets my goat.

Ffs, it always seems to be highlights of Arsenal thumping someone in the half time shows of these non-UK streams.

It's incredibly frustrating.

But that's not aimed at Ange or the players.

The football authorities and our owners have put us in this situation.

You can't have a serious lack of depth in key areas, play intensely, play twice a week and have players jetting off for internationals every month and expect consistent performances.

We had a huge win against City but even that would have taken something out of the players, we've followed that up with a very difficult tie against a decent Roma side and 2 and half days later play a very resolute and hard working Fulham team.

You can't expect us to be beating teams well and playing well game after game, it's just not realistic
I think this should go in the Ange thread before the end of this game

Put him up front and have Gray as the tired legs midfield sub.

Not a great half, just never going to be the same team when both strikers are injured and others are tired (i.e. Deki). It feels more that we're disjointed and struggling to adapt today than lack of application like Ipswich.

Suspect we'll see changes to bring Deki and maybe and Lankshear on in the second half to try and get hold of the ball in the attacking third more. Ange will recognise something needs to change soon.

Big shout out to Davies, Dragusin and Forster though, all really excellent that half and kept us in it.

Yet again the lack of physicality is letting us down, we are so light especially up front

Missing some key players today so people need to adjust their expectations accordingly. Vicario, Romero, VdV, Solanke and Kulu are all missing which is pretty much half our usual team.

Still should be doing better, against Fulham at Home.
Especially when we have tougher fixtures to come.

Fulham look like a team who have had a week to prepare and used it well. We, err, don’t. Europa league is a bastard killer. Just as well we are going to win it 😂

One positive is Dragusin is firing some nice line breaking passes. With every game he's looking more confident on the ball.

Sarr, Davies & Forster have been excellent. Poor creatively though. Kulu for Brennan early on please.

You can really see what Solanke brings to the team in his absence.

Needs kulusevski early second half to up the momentum. Probably for son or Johnson. Preferably the former on form.

We were doing this the first couple months of the season. Then injuries mounted up. How would we have done with Lloris, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Dembele and Kane out at the same time? Oh and Eriksen on the bench.

Solanke is a big miss here. Nothing is sticking up top and there are no brains in the front 3.
