They are getting more confident as the game goes on. Really hope Ange brings on Deki at half time, we need someone to get on the ball and take the game by the scruff of the neck.

This has been hard to watch. Let's hope we're the ones taking advantage of missed opportunities this time.
Yup but I think it’s always gonna be with those players missing. Look at arsenal without key players they’re so poor going forward, without your best players it’s tough.

Yeah, that's true. We need Kulusevski on in the second half.

Their defence > our attack.

Robinson is as fast as Johnson and seems to be controlling things. Werner I've not seen do more than cut in a couple of times and Sonny doesn't have the space in behind to exploit.

We're lacking our best player but we could quite honestly deploy him in 2-3 different roles and see a change in our fortunes (striker, wing or AM).

I don’t get this team. They’re unfathomable. Such a weird set of contradictions.
Missing some key players today so people need to adjust their expectations accordingly. Vicario, Romero, VdV, Solanke and Kulu are all missing which is pretty much half our usual team.

It's incredibly frustrating.

But that's not aimed at Ange or the players.

The football authorities and our owners have put us in this situation.

You can't have a serious lack of depth in key areas, play intensely, play twice a week and have players jetting off for internationals every month and expect consistent performances.

We had a huge win against City but even that would have taken something out of the players, we've followed that up with a very difficult tie against a decent Roma side and 2 and half days later play a very resolute and hard working Fulham team.

You can't expect us to be beating teams well and playing well game after game, it's just not realistic

We're a poorly coached team.
All for being heavily critical of the Palace and Ipswich defeats where there can be no excuses levelled at us whatsoever but this would be a tricky game even with a fresh and fully fit squad to choose from. A few tired legs and a few too many rotational players out there due to the injuries. This was never ever going to be a cakewalk.

I feel like we are ok-ish without the three defensive players missing but we can't be without out two best pressers in the team.

Dom is the best pressing player we have and Kulu just doesn't stop

And Bentancur. He's definitely a better player than Bissouma
