"There is a pattern emerging for Tottenham after a midweek European fixture in that they have lost the next Premier League game. Brighton, Crystal Palace and Ipswich all took advantage of perhaps some heavy legs in the Spurs camp...."

I hope we can break this pattern against Fulham. But a tough Roma-game plus all our injuries and high intensity style is not a good mix for tomorrow.

I think Ange has to make as many changes as possible without lowering our quality/approach.

After Roma... Bissouma, Maddison, Udogie of course... maybe even Werner or Spence could start... fresh legs and go get them from the start... kill them early if possible and then make some subs early in the second half to keep the freshness and tempo.

I would like to see Spence... but... with a defence with many new faces it might be best to keep Porro in the first 11.

Impossible to predict our games these days. Just wish we started to show a bit of consistency.

I feel like we were an absolute banker at home against teams like Fulham a month ago, but after the Ipswich and Roma performances I'm not so sure now.

I'd bite your arm off for a 2-1 just to try and gain a bit of momentum going in to the Christmas fixtures.

That was the wednesday night before against City in the cup.

But we beat Carrier bag before the United game!
Still a midweek game and only 3 days between games just like a europa league game.

Well technically no. It was three clear days to the Villa game after playing Wednesday then Sunday.

Only two clear days between Thursday and Sunday.

Fulham missing a few players with injuries apparently, Sessignon is a doubt too.
I copied and pasted that last bit.

I think this may be one of those games. Knackered from the Europa, players missing. Key, as ever, will be taking those chances so as not to make it hard on ourselves.

Its all about how we start. I mean we cant be too tired at that stage of the game.

An early goal and theyll be on the back foot.

If its 0-0, or worse at HT, I could see us tiring second half.

Apart from the funny bit, who other than Andersen are they missing?

I wonder which ex goon opens the scoring for them at the Park Lane end in a few hours' time?

Andersen is a massive miss for them so least that's some positive news anyway.
It's a flip of a coin what spurs will turn up so hard to know what we'll do today but some players did look very leggy late on Thursday. I do think we'll need to be a couple of goals up by 60/70 mins as reckon we will fade later in 2nd half

I have no doubt we will produce enough chances... but we probably need to score 2-3-4 goals today to get 3 points... we need to be efficient.

Nightmare match up today. The time wasting will begin from the first second, Leno taking an hour over every goal kick, fake head injuries stopping the game every couple of minutes, them constantly fouling us and riling our players up, crowd getting edgy. Our cryptonite basically.
