Wonder if Destiny has an injury that might keep him out the weekend so Reggie is being lined up for then, on the bench possibly.

I'm sure Ange will make it all clear in his presser.

Speaking to us exclusively on SPURSPLAY ahead of the clash at the Groupama Arena in the Hungarian capital, Ange told us: "Sonny and Destiny are back in London. They're working away, but they're not available for this one. Everyone else from the weekend got through the game and is good to go."

As for the inclusion of younger players and Sergio Reguilon in the travelling party, Ange added: "We've got training sessions (here), so we've brought young players and Reggy, just to make sure the quality of our training is what it needs to be today."

He is going to collect the cones at training as he is not registered for European fixtures.

He could have easily left in the summer but chose the nicer pay check at Spurs over playing.

And here he is, on zero minutes this season, travelling to an away game in Europe that he is not even allowed to play in.

Pretty sad for a 27 year old.
Not sure how sad he is, not sure why footballers are expected to drop lifestyle and wage. Most of us would not accept a drop in pay and lifestyle in our work… He has tried Brentford already so has done so, maybe he’s decided to stay where him and his family is comfortable until the right offer comes. I suspect that will be a Spanish club. Dire did this and he is now a Bayern regular in the Champs…worked well for him

Goes to show really that he’s not very interested in turning his career around, happy to just get paid.
A winner would have left and tried to reshape their career.
Left and gone where? We had no bids for him! He's making the best of his situation. The way players are dropping like flies we might well need him in the coming months!

What colours will the teams be playing in?
Ferencvaros play in green and white striped shirts, white shorts and green and white hooped socks. Their goalkeeper will wear orange.
We’ll be wearing our dark green third kit, with our keeper in yellow.

Why are we wearing green when they have green in their kit???

To be fair he has given it a go, he's been loaned out to all and sundry and nothing has come of any of them so maybe he's just fed up with living out of a suitcase and decided to stay and try to impress and leave next summer if it doesn't work out at which time he is free to make his own decisions and the club has no part of it.

Who decides what kit we wear? Is it us, is it our kit suppliers or does EUFA have a say in it?

Does anyone know anything about these guys? What sort of approach they take to games, attacking/counter-attacking. How they are doing in their domestic league, any previous games with opposition we do know and can gauge the sort of level they are on? Are we expected to just turn up bang 15 past them at a stroll or should we be happy with a 0-1 scrappy win because they use knives?

Anyone have any knowledge of the Budapest football league?

Suppose dark green is quite distinct from light green?

I think they seem themselves as a side who can get to Zagreb, Slavia Prague levels. Over the last 5 years they've beaten: Monaco, Leverkusen, CSKA drawn with Espanyol. Last season they were undefeated in a group with Fiorentina & Genk. They aren't shit, they're better than Qarabag. I reckon they'll qualify but not in the top 8.

They bought Saldanha, Partizan's top scorer this summer, who I think it a pretty good striker. Surprised he didn't go to a better club & I am sure he will in the near future.

They also have Pascal Jansen as their manager, who used to be at AZ & was linked with a fair few clubs (before they sacked him), like Ajax, Rangers etc. He also Beat Ajax, PSV & Feyernoord a lot while at AZ, so he's a good manager who knows how to set his team up against better opposition.

Basically they're the type of side we should beat. They're your typical, average, Europa league side. Best team in their relatively shit league, massive fan base, big atmosphere, random Brazilian striker.

With an upcoming international break we don’t need to manage VDV’s minutes imo. I’d start him alongside Romero tonight. Davies at LB, and another start for Gray at RB. No need for more square pegs in round holes when a lot of our starting XI are probably not featuring much for their international teams for one reason or another.

Forward line picks itself due to lack of available options, so just rotate the full backs and 2/3 of the midfield to give Bergvall an opportunity alongside Bissouma and maybe Maddison over Kulusevski for the same reason as VDV.
