Can Odobert play on the right? An in-form Son on the left, Solanke in the middle and Odobert on the right sounds quite nice.
He primary position is on the right I believe. I think those three will be the starting front line with Werner, Richie and Johnson backup.

I can really see why fans hate on Johnson, but he does what Ange tells him to do. His role is to study hi and wide. That’s what he is told to do.wat h the match, there are time I see him wanting to come deep and Ange tell him to fuck off up the pitch.

Everton are appalling and I really think will go down

Me chuckle when ekoku said Toney would be perfect for them if they can get good money for DCL (last year) and maupay (who the fuck would buy him) they could afford Toney. 😂🤣👏

I thought we were so dominant Kulu was great, Udogie looked to not tire as much as early, back 4 untroubled. Good all round performance - would have loved to see bergvail get a bit longer!

I hate to say it, but I think it will be a long afternoon in the rain.

The only saving grace is that Tarkowski/Branthwaite will be out.

We need an early goal. Otherwise, I can see the crowd getting frustrated.
Twas a long afternoon for the toffee team and fans

Just on way home from game. Good around performance. Thought the young kid Odobert did well and stayed out wide to give us that width. Defense wise we were untroubled. So all in all happy.

At 23, do we really expect it to improve more than marginally?

He can be effective at times but he does my head in. Such a frustrating player.
Depends on him really. I am sure players improve as long as they work on the right stuff. We know Ange loves him so he obviously sees something.

Been in the mountains in Morocco all day, so only checked in on this thread intermittently for updates.

Last I looked, I was informed by 4 pages of posts from medical experts that Van de Ven’s fucked and his season is over.

So you’ll imagine my shock to see him sprint the length of the pitch about 20 minutes later.

On way back from game, I definitely think w have just played two of the worst teams we will play this year. But we definitely looked more ruthless today and thought Kulu was great

Thought we played quite well but not as impressively as the scoreline would suggest. There's lots of room for improvement, which is a huge positive in itself after a 4-0 win.

I saw zero difference in quality between Everton and Leicester. Both aren’t good. The main change from last week was that we were a little sharper and minimized the mistakes. Like I said last week…. If Foxes fans widened their aperture and really examined that game, they would and should cack themselves. As it was a fluke result. We just as easily could have scored three or four against them like we did today. But that is the difference between being just a bit off it physically and mentally. Fine margins.

Good win and most of the team played well. Still lots of room for improvement, which we will see as the season progresses.

Good result but a really odd, flat atmosphere in the ground.

I’m obviously very happy with four goals and a clean sheet but would like to see us play with a bit more urgency and tempo.

It’d be a real shame if Everton get relegated in their last season at Goodison.
