My guess is it's got more to do with the feeling around the club for the last few years. The atmosphere at the new stadium can be absolutely phenomenal.
I think also a lot of fan groups were split up with the new seating arrangements. At least I remember talk of it, not sure if it’s since been rectified. That would definitely play a part in making the atmosphere feel a bit less unified, chanting more sporadic.

Also the away fans being the opposite side of the ground to the south stand really hasn’t helped. I think that's been an absolute clanger from Levy and his biggest error as anyone who wanted to sing/chant to generate the atmosphere would naturally sit close to the away fans in the south stand so we’d all congregate there with the chants back and forth.

Shows what happens when you don’t consult fans fully

That makes sense. I suppose it’s not entirely out of the question to have that changed at some point in the future? Probably some logistical and security issues with that though.

Delighted for the youngsters, will be really interesting if we start to see them get more game time/Ange have more faith in the youth players.

What I found extremely interesting was once Dragusin came off and basically our left side no longer became an attacking outlet, we worked the right hand side incredibly well. It was as if we knew we only had one attacking route, and showed lots of off the ball movement, incisiveness, and progressive play. That should be our blueprint against low block teams

Scarlet’s goal was top class. Didn’t rush it. Super clinic header down with just the right power.

Very promising cool under pressure.

We would much prefer the orange half to the silver. However, with a full complement of players I'm confident we at least make it to the semi-final no matter which half of the draw we end up in.

Once the games are played, is the determination of which of the two remaining teams we and ManU face made by random draw or by ranking?
Drawn from a pot with us and Man Utd as we finished 3rd and 4th I believe. That's the only ranking, 1 & 2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8 are the four pots.
