I meant if Liverpool or City was 3-0 up against Cardiff they would’ve kept going and score more
Liverpool are in an entirely different position with regard their squad but that aside they were 3-0 up at half time against Southampton in a game that ended 3-0. It's quite common for these games, where a team pretty much has the game won at half time for the game to have a goalless second half for obvious reasons.

Easy win with no stress thankfully, should have scored another three goals in the second half though, Sissy was a beast again except when he gets near the goal (y)

Obviously happy with the win but Jesus Christ that was boring

A team like Liverpool or City would’ve kept going and score goals but we just stop and pass around, we could’ve easily score 6 goals if we wanted to

This really irks me too!! I think it's a sign of our weakness, how we don't really have that ruthless, winning metality. We should be absolutely crucifying teams when we're in this position in games! Very annoying that we take our foot off of their necks!

Why are people complaining that we didn't get more?? We were 3 up after 25 mins ffs. Game done and dusted. No need to over exert ourselves. Sure we could have done better in a couple of situations but we're not gunna score every chance we get, afterall we did score with our first three shots pretty much, so it has to balance out. We we're professional and managed the game well, that's all we can ask for.

We hammered Everton and Bournemouth only a week ago.

Did you miss the four gilt edge chances we carved open?!

We created better chances second half than the goals we scored first half. Just didn’t finish.

Odd how some people view games.

Don’t bother, sir. It baffles me how people can moan about the result and performance given how tough the last six weeks have been

And we were a couple of heroic blocks from it being five or six, no issue of killer instinct. Plus who wants to show killer instinct when you've already killed it?

We need have a bit of perspective here mate we won after a disastrous result a couple of days ago when a lot of us were unhappy myself included, but we have another 3 points, clean sheet whilst involved in nothing more than a training session we should be happy.
Agree, can't complain, professional performance, clean sheet, still pissed about Wolves though as we would have been so close.

I mean our flatness was identical to that against Wolves but this time we had actually finished the game off. We need to rest as many as possible on Friday.

Presumably Poche knows what the squad is for the Tranmere game. If I were him I'd send the rest of them on holiday (or at least somewhere warm with Jesús for some light training).

I really wish we hadn’t dropped off and only created that one chance where Kane was in one on one.

Oh and when Son was in one on one.

And when Dele was clean through...

Etc etc. :D

Our RB position really needs upgrading. not impressed by Trippier s defending performance today
Lol he was fine.

Tripps the new Sissoko.

There is a reason he plays for England and is Poch’s first choice RB you know?

Reckon Poch knows a thing or two about Right backs too ?

What cheesed me off was Kane's shot from just outside the area in added time that he put high and wide. He owes me £150, the letter is already in the post.

To be fair if you want killer instinct, i think Sissoko probably killed someone in Row G towards the end there.
On the other hand there was the bit where he went all peak Dembele and held off four opponents before sending us foward yet again....

Love the big guy

Sissoko can actually have some silky touches when he is taking pace off the ball and applying backspin... its when he has to fizz a pass or go for a powerful shot that he almost always overcooks it!
