I’d normally agree but Maddison has been so so bad
I don’t disagree tbh. He’s been poor, just think we should be a little braver. We should lining up like we are at home against one of the bottom 3 in the league. 2 attacking AM and a DM.

For the 3rd game in a row, time for Mikey Moore.

Sarr and Deki the worst by far but poor from Johnson, Madders, Biss. Sonny maybe gets a pass as he’s out of position and he’s at least trying to make stuff happen.

Skippy’s done well I think and Micky’s class.

Skipp has done well but he was out of position for their goal which gets even worse considering he isn't playing as far forward as udogie

I know he's out of form but I have to be honest. Maddison really winds me up, he has a lot of the characteristics I dislike from other players. Poor attitude, always diving and constantly moaning to the ref. If he was playing for someone else id hate him.

Maybe it would be less noticeable if he was playing better but he does my head in at the moment. Offering nothing and his bad traits are really visible to see.

Agreed, been like that for 3/4 months

How are people suggesting bringing Sarr off? He's one of our better players. Front 3 and Maddison are all so poor and Bissouma getting worse as the half went on.

Sarr’s been awful live. No movement, very poor passing, not tracking back.

How are we not beating these? Decision making is shocking in the final third. Passing is off target too often. Sarr looks the only one with any energy. Nice goal from Porro but poor first half again. It just feels like back when we would finish mid table and play through the motions final few games. Never known the opposition give the ball away so much from the back so we should be all over that.
A lot of people are going overboard with other aspects such as defending and pressing, which are issues but those are not going to be as damaging if we had attackers who had an ounce of intelligence.

The amount of shite decisions or crap execution we do is ridiculous.

I am starting to lose patience with Deki and Maddison.

Maddison hasn't put a good game in for so long and Deki has a game like he does against Arsenal where you think he is kicking on but then 3 games where he fails to do anything effective.

Burnley have to win so they're bound to come out more, giving us ample opportunity to get in behind and pass it into their keeper's arms.

He has huge main character syndrome which is fun when he’s on form but irritating when he’s not. A harsh comparison as JM is a much better player but it’s the same thing that’s irritating united fans with Antony.

We have the worst form of any team except Sheff Utd so I suppose struggling against Burnley is to be expected. Whether it's acceptable is another question.

Lo celso for kulu and move madison to the left
Maddison has played out left plenty of times and isn’t doing a hell of a lot at 10 and Kulu just clueless out there. Ball being lost cheaply from our front three far too regularl.

He is an automatic starter and he frankly doesn't deserve that status considering his performances in recent months.

Kulu playing like he knows for sure he's one of the players who can go this summer.

Was it simply a 6-9 month run of outrageous form?

Bissouma and sarr showing energy
But why are they still 1 - 2 seconds late to the press every time? it is the tactics, it is not a focus of Ange.

I am guaranteed Ange will have no success no matter how brave his football is, if he can not turn around the awfull pressing we have

Honestly - the call for youth players reminds me of the same people who said they just wanted Spurs to play more attacking - and now are bitching because Spurs are not winning.

I want Ange to play the players most capable of delivering 3 points - if that is Moore - great - but not simply to give us something to get excited about.
Fair point. I was being slightly facetious, but at this stage, some entertainment would be nearly as valuable as the 3 points rather than watching our team pass to the opposition half the time like they did in the first half.

I’d get GLC on for Deki, if we haven’t got a winger/attacker then at least get someone on that can pass, control a ball and press. This would have to be among the worst front three in the league the way they’re playing.
Sad truth is we won’t see Gio unless we are still drawing or loosing in the 75/80th min.

When you think about it, for about the 7th year in a row, we have to sell/release about 12 players. Of today's XI, only maybe 4-5 of them should be in the XI next season & 1 or 2 of them should be in the squad. Amazing stuff.

We only bought Kulusevski and Johnson last summer. I’m not holding my breath on the club replacing them. Shambles.
