They were behind the game. They only got there after it had all unfolded. Easy to say when you're watching on TV. From his angle and time frame the only options he'd of seen were to shoot and the pass to Son. Don't even think the other two were in the box when he hit the shot.

Yeah I just checked... They weren't when he shot. Sarr was the only possible pass but even then I think the shot was the better choice as it wasn't as if Sarr would have had an open goal and it wasn't as easy a pass.
Ok

For me if he passes to Sarr we give ourselves 2 chances to score with the follow up runs.

it is so frustrating to see every premier league team so much better and agressive in the press than us, we are headless chickens without the ball. I strugle to enjoy the good thins we do, because it is ruined 2 seconds later when we stay like poles and not press together

Think I'd switch Kulu to the centre and move Son out left. Kulu at least has a physical presence and would do a better job of holding up the ball with his back to goal.
Why aren't the front three coached to rotate so we can at least be a little less predictable?

We need a presence up front, surely Scarlett has to be given a chance.

This is something that annoys me too. For a team that's meant to be fluid and have freedom our front 3 are always so rigid.

It's actually incredible how we manage to fuck up attacks in the most useless ways, which then lead to a counter and a chance against.

I’d consider Gio for Sarr, not because Sarr has been particularly poor or anything but I think we could do with two attack minded mids in tbf centre of the pitch.
Agreed. Someone in the middle of the pitch who can actually make a decent forward pass or through ball would be a start.

An error strewn low quality 1st half. We have to be better in the second, right? Right??
