Hopefully Mourinho now knows we need a #10 that want to receive the ball, not running behind the defenders.

Yep, much better second half. Kane, fantastic, Moura was great second half after being anonymous first. But yeah it all changed with GLC and Eriksen being introduced. Hopefully both start the next game.

As soon as Lo Celso came on and started playing through the middle we started to take control of the game. Then he pushes him out wide again after we went ahead. It was clear from where I was sitting we had no one to link midfield and attack. Good comeback through.

Unless that is what Mourinho wants from his 10 and not someone called OPModric on a football forum wants ...

Lo Celso needs to start. Impressed me today. He makes quick decisions, and has the technical skill to execute them. With more game time could be immense.

8 - Dele Alli has been directly involved in eight goals in eight appearances in all competitions under Jose Mourinho (five goals, three assists), more than any other Tottenham player since his first game in charge. Unleashed.

With so many games in such a short period, don’t know why Jose took off Sess - who should be fresh and fit, with so little game time. With Brighton’s players tiring out, Sess’s pace would have been an advantage.

It worked though.

We were the better team and deserved to win. They almost got their tactics right but we found a way.

Our decision making in those last few minutes was poor. Has been that way for some time. Shouldn’t be giving the ball away needlessly.

We are fifth and nowhere near playing well. Imagine if we tighten things up and start to play with more confidence?

Play players who can pass forward and we win.
GLC made the difference.

Hopefully José has finally learnt you need at least one or two footballers on the pitch to consistently win matches
