No bissouma. Shame. I fear our midfield is too timid for this one. Brentford will be keen to make a fight of it early on. Hopefully we can show some character.

Big day for Lolo. Does anyone know if and or when we may hear about the ruling on his likely ban ? Are we just trying to squeeze as much football out of him as we can until we hear ?

Just hope fans don't get on Johnsons back
The way I always saw it is if a player is giving their all I would never get on their back (even if they're shit ;) )
Having said that I have never booed a player wearing out shirt period as it is massively counter productive.

Carvalho starts for Brentford. He had a good run out in their league cup game. First Prem start for them I think.

As much as I feel Brennan is a very limited player I would love it if he could turn it around.
If for no other reason than it would be good for us.

Gotta be hard on his dad too as he appears to be in with the fans home/away. Not nice if you're sitting there while your son is getting abuse.

Wonder if Davies picked up a knock as not in the squad, could argue looking at the bench he’s not really needed and could be just left out but hopefully no injuries involved.

I do think that Midfield 3 is our best 3 at the moment. Hope we start well today and get an early goal to settle everyone

Not convinced by that midfield 3 when we have two inverted full backs.

Would much prefer one box to box player.

They just showed a graphic in the West Ham vs Chelsea match that showed Brentford as conceding 2nd most shots on goal this season (68 I think it said). Shows that teams are getting at them, despite their solid shape and tactics.

Just need Son, Solanke et al. to remember where they left their shooting boots after the Everton match.

Not just that. They need to remember how to pass and move too. Our movement as a team is shocking, we're so static.

If we keep passing into feet the whole time the attack is so slow and turgid.

Get behind the team and COYS. We have so much talent in that squad, but noone is doing anything unexpected or spectacular. Sometimes it's just one player that curls a ball in the net to change a season.
