He gave the ball away with a weak pass that allowed Bournemouth to break before eventually giving away the free-kick that led to their first goal.

It's fine, just back from an injury and still getting up to speed but he can do a lot better.
It’s not fine. At all. Few flashes aside, very disappointed in him.

There was a Jose song doing the rounds, can't bloody remember it though
Was it the ‘Rotterdam (or anywhere)’ song by the Beautiful South - among the lines of:
Porto, United
Inter, Madrid,
Jose hates the Chelsea Scum
Coz Jose is a Yid
Jose is a Yid

If we can have a bit of that boring play everyone spoke about when we signed Jose, maybe I could stop having to watch our matches within 3 foot of a toilet.

If he can get the best out of out attacking talent, which it looks like hes more than capable of doing, but add in the tactical nous and ability to kill a game off we may well step up to a completely different level.

Our game management lets us down massively and this is one area out new leader excels in, so fingers crossed he can mix the magic of our attacking play with the tactical nous of closing a game out.

So far so good though!

Topper don't quite get he disagree. You think our game management is on point?

Even before Jose, we where up against Bayern and didn't conserve the lead, last few games we have been 3 goals up and concede late goals to make it nervy.

I would like him to yeah us how to shut up shop, as that's what champions do no need to go chasing more goals when the game is won, it's naive at best!

I’m loving how we’re scoring so many goals from crosses at the moment!

Lets just hope José can get defence better organised and perhaps freshen it up a little in January.

It's just you.
I’d imagine the distance stats will say otherwise, but I could be wrong and I’m not going to act like I know everything.

I’ve been trying to find distance covered stats though and can’t find anything. Anyone know of a site that records such info?

I noticed that we had a number of counterattack breaks where Kane was nowhere to be seen.
There were also a couple of occasions where he was played the ball and just failed to react or move to receive it. Not sure if it’s a mental thing or a physical thing and wanted to see some stats on his running and if his numbers are in decline etc.

This is dangerous territory though as you aren’t allowed to say much about Kane.

I love Kane, as we all do, and he’s clearly still got the killer instinct. I just think he’s shattered. Mourinho won’t have the intense training regime that Pochettino preferred, so I think we’ll see his alertness picking up as time goes on.

One thing I would say is that ‘beast-mode Kane’ is a bit of a myth. Even in his first few seasons he would mostly wander about at a low pace. There were just brief periods in games where he would step up another level. He was never a ‘full-throttle’ player.

He’s not making the high-paced onslaughts that he’d occasionally do anymore, but I really think that’s a combination of overtraining and age.

Appreciate the adult response.

I’ll keep trying to find stats on it and see if he has dropped off a bit or he’s maintaining previous levels.

If Lloris is out much past Christmas’s we need a new keeper Gazzinga was terrible today, if we were playing a top side he wouldn’t have gifted another goal or 3 with his palming of the ball.

Scoring 10 goals in three games is unreal.
But conceding 6 in 3 shows how much work is needed.
Defensive midfielder urgently needed in Jan

Dele-Ndombele-Son-Sissoko-Toby all fantastic today.

It's about time some fluid footie...Great enjoyable game by us.Had enough of that other crap. Tighten it up a bit is fine.
This was Tottenham expanding footie.
Style.
No more frigging boredom

I watched bits on a stream that kept dropping, on one attack I had to go and check on the bbc football page to see if he had been subbed.

Kane was excellent yesterday. Maybe watching on a stream gave a false impression.
