I think at this point it wouldn’t be an overreaction to say that selling Dembele without having a bedded-in and ready-to-go replacement is an error which will end up costing us for several years

Dembele and dier were much more aware defensively, reading danger and filling in. None of our current midfield naturally do it

Really shows what a wonderful and unique player Dembele was, he was 3 players in one - part ballerina, part bulldozer but with the tactical intelligence to go with it
