Solid enough win. I actually think we looked a little tired during this one.

Yeah around the 60th minute you could see it.

Richy needs minutes.
Moore's star will lose its shine in the last stages.
Bergval and Bentacur tired too.

Our defence and GK is a mismatch so hardly a support there.

Think we played well enough without being brilliant but there's very logical reasons why.

On Werner, absolutely the right call by Ange. I can't see any situation where Werner came out that second half and turned it around.

Then you see Moore get the ball out there and everyone gets on their feet. Meanwhile Werner gets on the ball and people are expecting very little.

That little upturn helped us to gain the win.

We tired after but if we had that excitement first half I think we'd have killed the game earlier.

Good squad management tonight, well done Ange.

Honestly I was a little bemused at those thinking we had rotated too much - that was pretty much a normal Europa/Cup line-up from us.

We lacked a bit of finishing - but I have to say, the players all played well together - none of the disjointed performances we have seen in years past when we rotate.

Real leadership on the Pen. It was presumably his to take, he was skipper, and he gave his teammate the ball. Thats not easy, particularly when Maddison is under a bit of pressure himself to perform. Real big decision he made there - putting the team ahead of his own interests.

I expect he will be back alongside Deki on Sunday.

I think we are still odds on favorites to win the tournament - so I would hope we are favored to finish in the top-8 - regardless of the competition.
