Said before the game I was nervous with Forster coming in but thought he did well when called upon.

Poku impressed me on their end and shame van Bommel went off injured as I was looking forward to seeing him. Parrott worked his socks off too, such a shame he never really got given a chance with us.

As happy as I can be with this game.

• 3 points
• Full rest for Son, VDV and Romero, plus good rests for the other first team players
• Odobert back from injury and got some minutes, and looked sharp in those
• Mickey Moore showed what a class player he can become
• All youngsters and backups showed that they can be relied on if needs be

It did not look pretty a lot of the time but was totally to be expected given that we overhauled the complete team and that those players have not played many games together.

Great result against a decent side. Moore was sensational in that second half. Very exciting.

Good result. For 15 minutes Mikey Moore gave off those early Gareth Bale vibes when we realised we had something outstanding.

Goal for Richy, clean sheet for the Dragusin/Davies/Forster defensive wall, minutes for Bergvall, Odobert returns.
