Yeah, might have some decent players in a few years time. Then they’ll hit their prime and fuck off else where because we haven’t supplemented them with anyone else.

But you're missing the point: when they fuck off they will do that for a profit. Tottenham player exhange working as intended.

Romero and Micky, please hurry up and get fit so we can finally see Gray and Bergvall together in midfield. One of the only things I’m looking forward to now this season. We need to replace so many players it’s scary

Lucas and Archie Gray showed some balls tonight, and they are practically children. They can hold their heads up high.

Deki who’s been amazing this season was anonymous.

We were awful and got what we deserved but conceded through shooting ourselves in the foot just for a change. In the corner that wasnt, Dragussin must have know the play with Gabriel and lost him and as for Bissouma, WTF are you doing ??

this will take years to fix but I dont think we have the right man in the dugout and even if we did, Levy will absolutely not do what is needed in any case to help him

We are, in summary a complete shambles of a football club at the moment

Porro has had an absolute stinker of a week.

Spence must be first choice right back once we get a left back.
You’d think so wouldn’t you. Been fucking screaming at the telly all night to bring on Reggie and get him
Off. He’s fucking bullet proof. Not one decent ball. Every player playing on the left was right footed what is going to happen. Ball inside. Every time. Fucking easy to see.

Unfortunately, Spence was actually quite a big problem, and was also at the weekend.

He can if forced to go forwards down the flank/on his left side be very effective, but he hates doing it. And so 99% of the time turns back or gives the ball back where it comes from. And then you get penned in or are massively under pressure.

The last two games have been horrific in terms of building up from defence and midfield. Just passive and ultra go nowhere.

As for some of our senior players... Send pretty much all of them packing. I'm not seeing anyone in our squad to lose any sleep over if they depart tbh.

Absolutely disagree with this notion. If at all we got out today it was down to him. On other side, all Porro did was to find Johnson and he back passes, then Porro back passes. On & on it goes

Give Porro a break, Ange has taken it as a personal affront that he hasn't been out with a hamstring injury yet, and will play him every game until he breaks down.
Yet he has Reggy on the bench, so get Spence in his natural position and give Porro a break but our manager is too stubborn for that.

Reminds me of the old saying "too good to go down".

Laugh at me all you want, aside from our regular starting centre backs, who was missing from Ange's usual starting eleven?

Levy should be worried.
Goalkeeper, Left Back, 2x Centre Backs, Central Midfielder missing from the starting XI

I'd imagine we'll be a lot better when Vicario, Udogie, Romero, van den Ven and Bentancur are back.

Let's be real.

This squad is about 2 years away from being fully formed. We've seen this before with young players starting to break through and really push the club forward. We might win a cup with the current lot but it's the players like Bergvall, Gray, Moore, and VDV that are going to be taking us to the next level in the same way that Kane, Dele and co did for Poch. Over the course of the next 24 months we'll see Maddison, Son and be overtaken and they will end up bit part or squad support.whilst our youngsters elevate us. I just hope we continue making clever signings and strengthening the club (hopefully at a quicker rate than we have been )

Cuti and Vdv come on it means Gray can move up to CDM then we’ll be cooking.

The better team won - by shithousing from the KO, the nudges, barges, time wasting mostly unseen by the referee.

In all honesty I could not support a team that exists and consists of dark arts

I know January is a hard window but I refuse to believe that there are no players available that wouldn’t improve our forward line.

If one player is dead on their feet it's going to be Porro, his role in side and number of minutes must mean he is in the red zone a lot

if only we had another rb in the squad that could have been used earlier.....

I mean I don’t want to defend that performance. it was awful. But they were missing two first 11 players. Hardly an injury crisis compared with ours.
Missing their far and away best player in Saka, then no White, Calafiori, or Jesus. Same as in the home game where we had our first team and they had no Rice or Odegaard and we didn’t threaten once.

Our front three were totally bossed all game.
I don’t think their defence broke a sweat..The front line are our biggest problem. They can’t hold the ball, find space, make time or create. Massive overhaul required and we’ve got think what do we do with a £65m Forrest Gump
