Good shape, decent tempo for the most part and we created numerous chances. We need to be more clinical.

Let's go with 442. Son and Kane seem to like it.

Would you have rather lost prettier?

I think the problem is this is the new reality. This is what we have to look forward to every week. Gooners has 82% possession up until our second goal at our place. That is shocking and not what I want to see from Spurs. We won today but it could easily have been a loss.

I actually thought the attack was much better, linking up and moving better.
Still need to be much better and were wasteful in parts but there was something there today.

I'll be interested to see what the xG was for the game. Arsenal did have some chances, but for the most part they were outside the box and from wider positions.

I'm not feeling great about the win, feels like a bit of a hollow victory, but then that might be because there's next to fuck all to play for right now. That and there being no fans in the stadium, really takes away from the emotion of the NLD.

Jesus Christ man. Get a grip and just enjoy the result. Expected goals? FFS

The surprises: Lucas was a ball of energy and played great. Some lapses though. Sissoko did well.

The par for the course: Aurier and Winks are terrible, horrible, no good, very bad football players.

Martinez had a good game, too. 9 shots on target and without him we would have seen a Davies worldie, and possibly even another from Son.

I don't think anyone would have had us pegged for that kind of potential

Good win and decent performance, but this game suited us. Until Jose gets the time and personnel he needs we will be inconsistent in performance. I still think we will struggle coming up against teams that sit deep and counter. I don't want to be too down beat because it was a good result.
