It’s only a bonus but I won a few quid today. I haven’t been on here much during lockdown but I’ll donate tonight. COYS. We weren’t great or even very good but good enough to beat the goons, love it.

Good shape, decent tempo for the most part and we created numerous chances. We need to be more clinical.

Let's go with 442. Son and Kane seem to like it.
I'd love to see that. A creative midfielder(Modric), a tank of a dm (Sandro), 2 fast as fk wingers and full backs and go rip teams a new arsehole.
Make them scared to come out of their own half like Redknapp days. Ah they were good times.
I hope today Kane and others think hey maybe there is something promising going forward at Spurs. Just a glimmer of hope.
Christ been so low lately.
Its not the result as I said.
I would rather have played like that today and got a draw than play like we have been and grab a 1.0 win in 90th min against run of play. We deserved that today.

Tacitly Mourinho was very good today. He work out the threat was from the wing backs and played a 442 to nullify it, they had the majority of possession but we created better chances on the break. It not pretty a lot of the time under Mourinho but he identifies the oppositions strengths and blunts them and plus from there

They’re probably just bitter because we won and they can moan about Mourinho.

Undefeated at home since the restart. We need to make the new stadium a fortress. They obviously play better without everyone there moaning!
Absolutely this! I was saying the same to my pals in the WhatsApp group earlier. Maybe we can finally make the new stadium a fortress with what must be the first time we’ve won three home games in a row since WHL was demolished?

I realise that I'll be pissing on a lot of cornflakes when I say this, but that really wasn't very good and the only reason that we scored at all was because they are incapable of defending.

There were some good points. We are becoming more solid defensively and are more difficult to score against. Their potentially very potent attack was generally handled well. But we are still very hit and miss going forward with nothing even vaguely resembling a plan. We had more chances today partly because individuals (notably Son) were better than they have been; but mainly because Arsenal can't defend for shit and were even kind enough to give Son the ball for his goal.

We still allowed the opposition to have the ball - without pressing until they got close to our goal - for large chunks of the match, and that is never going to work in the long run; particularly against the better teams, who can both defend and attack.

So a good result with a slightly improved performance, but still no real cause for being optimistic that we'll be anything like a good side in the immediate future.

Hmmm. So how did he identify Bournemouths weaknesses of being in bottom 3 and leaking goals for fun but then having no shots on target?
He did well today but I just dont understand how we can play like that against Arsenal and then like we have recently. Its fkin mind boggling.

Mate theres absolutely no comparison between that performance and what we've been dishing up recently. Wtf have you been watching?

It was probably the best overall performance since restart. Having Son close to Kane could have some potential

That to me says more about the players

Toby said it was nice to win after the negative press we’d had. Should shut them up for a little while with any luck. Mourinho has never beaten Newcastle away from home so will be desperate to put that right.
