Doesn't help that its insanely boring to watch as well.

That is the problem with Jose. The keep it tight, hope to nick something, strangle the game thing is only really acceptable when you are winning.

Looking back was strange to take Dele off at half time unless he had an injury, we’ve been so fucking bad this half.

Sissoko coming on obviously hasn’t had a positive impact but Dele was pretty abject in the first half

We cannot retain possession, there’s no rhythm to our play, and show absolutely no imagination on the ball. Defenders look ponderous. Midfield looks ridiculously lightweight. Forwards look isolated and increasingly uninterested.
We’re not strong enough mentally or defensively organised to be a counter attacking team.
We lack the intensity, energy and commitment to be a high tempo pressing team.
We lack the technique, movement and vision to be a posession based team.
So where does that leave us.....??

We literally have nothing in the way of creativity nothing has been learnt from the previous season sad but not surprised.

Not just lessons from last season, but lessons from multiple previous seasons when the need for some creativity in midfield has been patently clear, even to the casual armchair fan.
