Is Anr abbreviation for another? And is stay of execution another issue?

Just gone back on OS and found this in the clubs statement from the last court case

Following this, Archway, the owners of the last remaining land to be acquired for the stadium site, requested permission to appeal the judgment and this was refused by Mr Justice Dove who concluded that an appeal had no reasonable prospect of success. Archway now have 21 days in which to apply to the Court of Appeal.

While there is still therefore a possibility of a further appeal, the hope must be that this High Court decision will now allow us to progress what is widely recognised as the flagship development in the regeneration of Tottenham.

Although the above from @prawnsandwich seems to say different.

It could be they had to lodge the appeal anytime until tomorrow but the actual hearing would take place no later than 25/3/15.
But I am only guessing.

As per the 'Court' thingy you're talking about, it was covered ages ago in the Stadium thread

Ironically, spoke about it with @prawnsandwich at the time, but seems to have forgotten it...

The court reference of C1/2015/0115 refers to the fact that it was due to take place in Court 1, on the 15/01/2015. That was the original appeal hearing date which was postponed.

Hence, that court entry is still only a reference to that which we already know - also it's why it say it's been dealt with and dismissed, as per:

I do believe that Anr does indeed mean there is another party or parties involved.

It does. I think 'Ors' means multiple "others" whilst 'Anr' is a singular another.

Can't see it being a scrupulous bankroller without it being transparent to ENIC/SoS/HC though.

If we don't hear anything tomorrow then I'd assume they have lodged another appeal and we'll then get an official statement from the club early next week.

If they're not appealing I expect a statement from the Josif family tomorrow laced with bitterness towards the club and awash with their usual rhetoric of "the world is against and we're just hapless victims".

Basically I'd take continued silence from them as a bad sign.

I didn't realise they were Scousers!

There will still be some that claim the new stadium won't be built.

There will still be some that claim the new stadium won't be built.

"And you, forgotten, your memories ravaged by all the consternations of two hemispheres, stranded in the Red Cellars of Pali-Kao, without music and without geography, no longer setting out for the stadium where the roots think of the child and where the wine is finished off with fables from an old almanac. That’s all over. You’ll never see the stadium. It doesn’t exist. The stadium must be built."
