If any of you are going to Chiang Mai make sure you go to the Marijuana bar down on Loi Kroh. Chris, the manager is a mad Spurs fan and shows all the games. If you do go and bump into a baldhead geezer called Tom say Hello from his brother! COYS

I wouldn't have a clue mate as my brother has only just gone back last Monday. Have a wander down there as I am not even sure if it is still open. Otherwise try the Number 1 bar. They always show footie in there and the girls are a bit special as well!! ;-)

Cheers for the heads up Ricky, I will be in Chiang Mai in a few weeks, will check it out. Never difficult to find a bar with prem footy in Thailand, managed to catch all the games on my last trip - they have more televised EPL then we do.

With a name like that wonder if I would be able to score some smoke???

Edit: Just noticed how old this thread is

Ohh FFS, I will be sitting on a plane for the first Inter game. Not again!!!!!!! I missed the both legs of the CL Real games through a business trip. Should catch the second one in Bangkok. Might be able to watch a bit of it on my phone in the departures lounge, never tried before.:banghead:

First leg 3:05am Thai time, so don't expect too many places to be open and buzzing. Second leg 1am so more likely to be a better atmosphere somewhere. However, there are usually strict closing times for most bars - 1am in Bangkok and it was 2am in Ko Samui.

I'll be watching them at home - the games will be shown on True Visions HD. Any good hotel will have True Visions on their cable or satellite TVs so you won't miss the games if you don't find a good bar.

Top man, thank you

Maybe a 5* hotels lounge bar then for the 1st leg and Sports Bar for 2nd

How come the kick off for the away leg is 2 hours different? Sounds odd, I guess with the Milan time difference plus the ko earlier/later??

Yes, a good hotel should have the game in a lounge bar. However, there should be some sort of sports bar and they may well lock everyone in to watch the game.

Half the games start at 6pm UK time and the rest at 8pm. It's so they can show more games on TV I guess. True Visions will show all the last 16 matches on 4 different channels!

At least the Liverpool game will be on at a slightly more reasonable time - 11pm!
