So pretty much what we thought, with maybe Arsenal and Man U being tight with regards to what they can actually spend?
Where are Everton in all this?

I was about to ask about this. Does buying land/property count in the finances? If not they can just keep buying property and selling it back to themselves again over and over.

I'm surprised Brighton are doing so well because I thought their owner had pumped a lot of money into them, building them quite a hefty debt but I suppose that's fine until he wants it back?

Not sure about the UK but here you'd lose a big chunk every time you do that in capital gains tax.

Or they get sold and their new buyer pays a premium to clear the owner debt so it’s never included in any ffp/psr. I’m sure I read a club that similar happened to…….🫢

exac any club can sell assists to irs self so the whole thing is pointless.

Until you run out of assets of to sell to yourself. Chelsea literally only have their training ground to sell now (by all accounts part will be sold this year) they'll never be able to sell Stamford Bridge with the Chelsea Pitch Owners agreement.

They could be a doubt they would just for a couple of extra players. hotels yeah ok, but selling grounds and training grounds.

Theyre selling assets that they'll never be in a position to buy back. The only option would be when new owners come in and they buy all the companies, but taking sheff wed as an example, the fans got on the back of the owner who near enough gave them the middle finger in return. If they hound him out and continue to give him shit, who's to say he would sell the ground to a new owner and not hold them to ransom over rent terms, this happened in my local town with Rotherham and nearly forced them out of business twice.
