Was never going to be overturned. Move on and be thankful another game wasn't added to the punishment.

Bugger, our gamble that they would forget what happened, not check any replays of it and just take our word for it somehow backfired.

Don't know why they did away with the extra ban for spurious appeals rule. Everything will be appealed now no matter how cut and dried the offence is.

I think they done away with it once they ensured that all appeals would be heard before the next game was played.... removing any benefit from making a spurious appeal.

Son's penalty offence comes from his attitude towards football...which I. m. h. opinion goes something like: "I am a FAIR-MINDED player and I beat people by largely by using FAIR MEANS (my speed/ skill). When I am constantly fouled and fouled, I finally see red (that my opposing player would resort to this) and will immediately break the rules IN ANY WAY to get him back."
He needs to be punished until he get's the message.
Being sympathetic to him only makes things worst because it supports his some what childish behaviour.
