Spurs have Ajax keeper Andre Onana at the top of their wish list to replace Hugo Lloris. The athletic and skilful Cameroon international first caught the eye of Tottenham in their Champions League clashes last season.

Somebody watched the Chelsea game last night and remembered to rehash an old story.

Was he actually any good against us last season? I don't remember him making any great saves

I like Gazzaniga - think he’s consistent, calm and can also pull off some great saves. Don’t think we need a first team keeper. A support one is fine. Hugo never fills me with confidence - always seems to to be on the verge of a clanger.

Besides Zakaria, what defensive midfielders have we been linked to? I don't think Zakaria is even a pure DM is he?

35 million for a 2nd or 3rd string keeper, pull the other one

although we dont know for how much longer Hugo will remain with us

I would assume, if there were any truth in this, that he would be brought in with a view to being our #1
