I enjoyed the first episode after being nervous about it.

Will watch the other 2 later on but overall pleased with the first one.

Think overall other fans will be disappointed with how its turned out on the face of it when they thought it would be an embarrassment especially the goons

Maybe it’s because a lot of the bits in it have been clipped or discussed on social media already, but I have found it all a bit dull so far.

There are some obviously staged bits but for a season which went off the rails so badly it would have been very interesting to see behind the scenes after Bayern, Brighton etc. Player reactions, staff members, fans, Poch with his staff trying to fix things etc. It just seemed to quickly summarise that period and then jump to José.

The best one of these I’ve seen is the Sunderland one, and it’s largely because the place was an absolute shitshow, and the cameras were not at all shy at showing it. Remembering back to the start of the season we were such a mess. Granted, it would have been a hard watch but potentially very good TV.

Maybe it’ll get more interesting as the series develops. It’s just that I’d got 2 full episodes in and felt like I’d not really seen anything particularly interesting (apart from Aurier’s face after being called out, which did make me laugh).

Just watched first ep. It's ok, disappointed that we didn't get to see more of Poch and his relationship with the players prior to his departure. That's one of the things I was looking forward to seeing the most

Bearing in mind that Amazon came in at the end of the season prior, and all of the ITK and player anecdotes pretty much said he 'sulked in his office' etc. (I'm sure we remember the reports and interviews at the time), I don't think there was much. Even in the clips they showed he looked detached and dejected, like an empty shell. It's perfectly possible that the cutting floor has saved him a little.

I liked the first episode, Jose is actually funny

But one thing I didn’t like:

How Poch was sacked by Levy. After all the things he did for the club and that’s how you sack him?? And we didn’t even get to see Poch in the dressing room or in the games. Didn’t even hear the players talking about him when they speak to each other

We don't know how his departure went - all we know is what Kane said, which will be a summarisation from a guy who would have been speaking in what would be his 4th language, in the heat of the moment. Poch's articulation was generally a bit lacking when we've heard him speaking English, so I wouldn't take what was said as verbatim.

Actually think the City one was better so far tbh. They're both hugely sanitised obviously but city's season was so good that they were forced to focus on some more human aspects (loads of stuff with the staff, even the kit man, for instance), whereas ours has so much onfield drama that it's basically just telling that story with the occasional insight into the changing room.

Not hugely getting the sense of anyone's personality bar Mourinho thus far.

Watched first two episodes. Hard watch the first episode, Pochettino really looks like he doesn’t want to be there.

Also can’t help but feel with the doc underway, Levy’s hand was slightly forced on the managerial change. God knows what it would have been like without Mourinho

PS they show an NFL game before any Premier League games. With the many, many sexy shots of the stadium and training ground, it’s very clear what the intention is

Thankfully (for us) this show is taking the club sanctioned approached to documentary making. You can tell nothing will have gone out without Levy signing it off.

So far it could have been written by Mourinho's agent as it makes him look like a god. Be interesting to see the next few epsiodes though where the wheels come off. It had given me more faith for next season as its clear Jose knows what he is on about and I loved the way he went about his first week at the club.

It's clearly nowhere near as good as the Netflix Sunderland documentary but that's good because that one is pure misery porn and I'm not sure I could bear to see that happen to us.

There is definitely some interesting moments and insight to this though, well worth a watch I thoroughly enjoyed the first 3 episodes.

My take aways from the first 3 episodes are as follows

1- For the first time I genuinely felt the Poch sacking was the right thing to do watching the first few mins and the fact that everyone looked like they "checked out". Could have been clever editing but it just looked like noone was ready to kick on again.

2- Jose isn't as angry as I thought he would be. You can see why some players love him and others don't.

3- Kane's team talks are about as shit as mine on Football Manager but with added "FUCKING" thrown in.

I agree, Levy had to make a change. Poch seemed to lose it with his rant about transfers, and the little we saw of him, I can believe he sulked a lot.

Also, Dier’s comment to Jose about the old gaffer wanting people to take a long time recovering and getting fit. That may have held a lot of players back, just how long was it before we saw Lucas in the first team in the EPL? A ludicrous amount of time if I remember rightly... Seems Poch came to a natural conclusion, and that Levy had been working on a Plan B for a while.

The only thing I've learnt so far is that our stadium will without a shadow of a doubt end up being named The Amazon

Felt disappointed we didn't get to see poch in the changing room to be honest to see the contrast

Yeah me too, would have been good. Probably not as good TV though, and if the club didn’t sanction it, they could have good reason. Might have been an utter train crash to watch.

100%. The Kane talks are cringeworthy.

And the pinpointing of little things Jose says that supposedly play out in the game are a bit much

I watch the first 3 episodes back to back and there take away points.

1. Good to see Levy dining in with the first team, shows connection with the day to day.

2. The editing has glossed over issues by showing porch and eriksen as have given up, making easier to sell the narrative.

3. Great to see Lesley coaching the youngsters. I can see why he's stepped up.

4. Mourhino is here to deliver and it's going to be through mental toughness.

5. Would be great to have a tighter tie up with Amazon prime with the launch of a spurs TV channel.
