If City didn’t get it, with their whole impossibly funded sportswashing PR operation, we won’t.
I disagree. Of course I am likely to be wrong
If City didn’t get it, with their whole impossibly funded sportswashing PR operation, we won’t.
If City didn’t get it, with their whole impossibly funded sportswashing PR operation, we won’t. And they had successful things to focus on. Right now, internal drama is about the only thing that would make it watchable.

Can’t have helped having a camera in the background during private squad moments (not sure how much of the season they’ve filmed though). These lot need as few distractions/hinderances as possible right nowI lol’d at “some players not going the extra mile”
How long til someone blames amazon for a shitty season?

I don't get the impression that City are more commercially aware than Spurs. Just throwing money at something isn't exactly cunning.
Pochettino has already made murmurings https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...o-pochettino-tottenham-amazon-prime-liverpool
Where did I say they were? The entire project at City is to sportswash a nation. It is PR in its purest form.

Have they been filming already? If so, I’d say there’s an argument that it has had some negative influence.
It’s not a fly on the wall documentary. No such thing unless filmed secretly. As soon as cameras are introduced behind the scenes it changes the entire dynamic. Everyone becomes an actor worried about how they come across.

Chargers have pretty much said that the London move is bollocksNot sure if this has been mentioned, but Jeff Bezos is considering buying an NFL team. The league owners want him to purchase the Seahawks, now that Paul Allen has passed. They are also pushing Denver his way.
However, what's not been mentioned is the NFL London opportunity. For now, I'm not completely clear on whether this will be a net-new team, or they plan to move an existing team over there, probably under new ownership. Not sure why I've heard the Chargers kicked around, as they are playing in a new stadium, so that'd be a bit odd.
Nevertheless, Bezos might be more interested in owning the London NFL team. Furthermore, as I've mentioned in the past, Bezos and Amazon are very intentional in their actions. Spurs were chosen for a reason for this documentary I believe. I think they want to take a good look under the hood at the business opportunity.
Amazon could end up being long-term Stadium naming rights partners, plus t-shirt sponsorship sometime in the future. Bezos, might want to own the NFL team that would play in the stadium named after his company. Furthermore, he may also want to own the team that currently plays there as well.
Might seem a bit tin-hatty, but should the above situation transpire, I wouldn't be remotely surprised.
