Hercules said its happening. Relax guys
To add to the Campos news. I am not putting my nads on the line! As likely as it looks; as Jose wanted him months ago, and was told at the time we were trying to work it somehow. Let’s hope this transpires. My own opinion is it will eventually happen. But! My opinion!
Last heard he believed it would happen but opinion based on interpretation rather than insider knowledge.

Campos has a scouting network and contacts that identifies youth players who become big players. I am not sure you realise quite how many players he has scouted for nothing in the last few years who are now world stars, but if you did then surely you would realise his value to a club like ours in the current climate. I am happy to 'agree to disagree', but IMO Campos would be a massive signing, *especially* in the current climate where I totally agree that money for transfers will be scarce.

Player : signed for : sold for:
Mbappe : £0 : £166M
Lemar : £0 : £63M
Fabinho : £0 : £47.3M
Bakayoko : £0 : £40m
Martial : £4m : £57.6m
Anthony Martial : £4m : £57.6m
Pepe : £9m : £72m

You’re not reading my posts. I wanted him ffs!

It seems the link to Campos is being played down ‘officially’ by the club while other sources seem to think it’s done. JJ sticking with the club line while unofficially it is slated to happen in the near future.

That's exactly how my mind works when I see this stuff...although if I say that to my mates in the pub they would put a foil hat on my head. <Slowly drifts into Dreams about having a beer in a pub>

No, we didn't. At this time we had the best center back pair in the league and we signed Davinson.
incorrect - if we had signed HM for that small amount we'd have had fantastic coverage for Jan - our bench that day included Wimmer.
A CB group of Jan/ Maguire + Toby/Davidson would have been fantastic.
I don't believe Levy should be blamed for missing out on Robertson because Davies ended in sensational form and no one could have seen Rose's injuries causing such a decline. But Maguire was a big miss - we'd been linked and remember being surprised when Leicester announced.

Is there anyway of explaining the info or Herc and RTP along with JJetset's? Perhaps it is far from a done deal but a possibility?

Could argue in the context, if you choose to.
JJ was asked if Campos was Levy’s dream Sporting Director, to which he suggests no. May just mean he’s not Levy’s first choice, doesn’t mean he’s not on the list

Don't think Levy would appoint anyone to the DoF role who would want control of the transfer budget without interference.

Given we’re now or should I say really trying to be a global brand Levy needs to focus on what he’s good at, the business side and leave footballing matters to a DoF and the manager.

We are getting pretty global, I live in Los Angeles and have been a fan since 2008 (not long I know). I see Tot jerseys/hats pretty frequently out here. Our local supporters group bar had to rent out a second location for the Champions league final game and there must've been close to 500-600 people trying to get into the bar that day. I went to the Barca preseason game last year and although it was like 90% barca fans there we probably still had 5000-8000 fans at that game (it was a great environment)

I think the most telling part is Jose is head coach not manager, so campos or another is very likely sooner or later

They are 'Tier 1', it's just the way they try and turn everything into a drama that annoys many. It's definitely a company decision to operate that way.

ESPN are the same except they have Woj and Schefter, when they talk everyone listens.

They are nowhere near tier 1, the way they operate is throwing shit at the wall in hope some of it sticks...TV Daily Mail
