We have drawn over a third of all our PL games, as many as anyone in the league and too many if extrapolated out to finish top 4
That's true, but in years gone by, half of those draws would have been loses. We are one of the hardest teams to beat. Last year we had as many draws (i think at a similar stage of the season- could be wrong) and should have finished 2nd. Not too shabby. Of course I would prefer us to convert those draws into wins. I think in time we will. But... matches are drawn. It happens.

I've watched most of their games this season and they are very difficult to break down. Attacking wise, they've been turgid and nowhere near as fluid as under Koeman, as they now play a diamond system without the continual high pressing. Poch is going to have to get his tactics right here, or we will be looking at a 0-0 type game. I think we can pull out a 1-0, but we will have to up our intensity big time.

The difference this year, is that all the teams that are expected to win are winning.. We're just doing the same as last year.

Arsenal recently lost two on the bounce. Man City are inconsistent. The only team that is winning most of their games is Chelsea. We –despite playing relatively poorly compared to last year– are not that far behind. A win tonight, puts us what 4 points off second, 3 behind Arsenal. Imagine if we kick on second half of the season (which I expect us to). We will be right in the mix for top 3/4 come May.

I shouldnt be this nervous but I am. Really need to win. Key players out of form and every result went against us this round. Worrying. Feels like we're being set up.

Man up mate. Eriksen is hitting good form and kane is due a goal (well defo a pen).

Lets wait for team news though as poch has been unpredictable of late.

We didn't have a "slow start" this season. That was last season. This season we got 17 points from our first 7 matches and were in 2nd place. Last season we got 12 points from our first 7 matches and were in 5th place. Neither is exactly a "slow start", but we fairly shot out of the blocks this season, with 5 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses.

It's funny how quickly I forget. I stand corrected. Perhaps it's been the fact that I have felt that we have never really clicked this season... Anyway, thanks for correcting me.

I saw something earlier today(not sure if its true though) that we are one of only 3 teams that hasnt used an unchanged XI this season. The lack of continuity, while some of it has been forced, is an issue IMO.

Eriksen is in great form, atm. Kane, Dele, Son, Dembele, Dier and even Wanyama however, are not. Creates a selection headache, IMO.
