You could see from Amazon documentary that Alli was vocal in his objection to hoofing the ball long and failure to retain possession. I suspect this has not been lost on Mourinho. I doubt whether this is the sole reason, but I'm sure Alli has questioned his tactics on more than one occasion

Think it was Rose who said something about passing it sideways in defence then goalkeeper hoofing it, but Alli’s outburst where he was called out by Dier shows him to be a bit of a spoilt brat. If he showed as much desire and aggression on the pitch he would be back to his best. The best players perform consistently on the pitch and earn the right to bust balls in the dressing room.

Dier was right in that exchange though. Dele's like a little whining child, not offering solutions but always complaining. We know he's a "bad trainer" and I've said before, he's not good enough for the only position he can play.

No dele in squad is either because we’re selling him or because he’s fallen out with Jose or because Jose isn’t happy with his performances and giving him a kick up the arse. But to not being in the squad 2 squads in a row make me think it has to be a falling out or we are selling him...

Dele is a tough one, if you can get him good service like erisken used to he broke records for his age in terms of goals and assists as Young English player, he’s had injuries and struggled with form and I think we don’t get him enough service but at the same time he does slow our play down as he’s more a shadow striker rather than an actual creative n.o 10 and also he does seem to like the playboy lifestyle which Jose won’t be happy with.

Never like to hear of any player fallings out if that is the case as doesn’t usually bode too well for the manager longer term but if we do sell Dele and use the money to bring in a CB, CM and ST then the balance to our squad would be pretty amazing and I think we are more suited to play 4-3-3 than 4-2-3-1 anyway as we have a lot of wingers an no real n.o 10’s.

Yeah I had Dier right as well, Dele was acting like a spoilt kid. You should leave your frustrations out on the pitch and talk about them properly in the dressing room.

Can't have Dele taking a leader role if he's gonna act childish like that - I noticed that him and Dier were the only ones talking which was pretty alarming and tells you why Jose wanted to get some more voices in.

I still think today is about nothing but the win. The performances can come when our squad is all together which hopefully will be very soon. Bale will obviously improve us, but I think Reguilon will be the one to give us that different dimension.
