Tottenham are hoping to extend their Danish contingent after handing trials to two of the country's brightest young talents.
Spurs struck gold in the summer when they landed highly-rated Christian Eriksen for just £11million, with his contract at Ajax running down.
Now the north London club are hoping to unearth Denmark's next big thing after arranging trials for teenage strike duo Soren Andreasen and Kasper Nissen.
Spurs discovered the pair through former midfielder Allan Nielsen, 42, who acts as their agent and spotted them playing for his hometown club Esbjerg fB.
The pair, who are both Denmark Under-17 internationals, have arrived at Spurs’ Enfield training centre to begin their trial this week and are aiming to secure permanent deals in the capital.
Andreasen, 17, has already played and scored for the Esbjerg first team while Nissen, only 16, is still waiting for a debut.
But Nielsen is hoping they can make an impression during their trial periods with Andre Villas-Boas' side.
He said: "They are young talents who have done very well so far.
"The trials came into being through my contacts with Spurs and it will be an exciting experience for them.
"Of course there is always a jump when you have to take the step from being a prospect, but for the future, they have great potential."

Excellent! With the amount of talent we have coming through the ranks all Levy has to worry abt is funding the new stadium.

Ya know, I've seen the boys play a couple times, and I'll tell ya what, they've got all the ability in the fackin' world.

Top, top quality.

But the only way they'll reach their full potential (and I'm talkin' top, top, top very tippity top of mount everett) is if ya send the lot of 'em on loan to QPR. We're the only undefeated team in bloody England.

See, that's what I do. Snap 'em up early, sell 'em on for a profit. These lads can be top quality, innit. But only under my guidance. Gareth, Andros, that croatian bloke who didn't like the chicken badge (neither did I to be fair, not a proppa fackin football crest), they all owe their careers to me.

These lads can be somethin'. But only if you send 'em 'ere. If not, they'll end up in the fackin' reserves. Or I'll just sign Carlton Cole.

Really like this as I think Denmark have had some good young players coming through in recent times, and would really add some good competition to our youth striking options and improve all the others.

Is mount Everett also known as Kenny?

Sorry to be a spelling Nazi but I can assure you it was done in the best possible taste

Going on Kane's progress, the 16 year old is likely to be 6-8 years away from THFC first team appearances. let alone starts. Patience.

This story isn't really a rumor though - as the "real" players in fact are on trial...
