Peeeyeempee have I said something to offend you because the two posts I have made on loyalty and loving the club seems to be a source for you so you can make fun . is it my love of the clubs or the players that love the club that is the reason you are so flippant about or are you just a person that likes to take the piss in the safety of your own home .Make a fun of someone once and its a bit of fun to keep doing it is tantamount to piss taking .Or perhaps I am the only one that finds player loyalty a rare thing and something to be applauded and others like yourself find it a thing to make jokes about .
It’s nothing personal, I’m just being facetious. I’ve no doubt Lamela loves the club, but I don’t know that he’s any more or any less loyal than anyone else. In the words of the great American philosopher Chris Rock, men are only as faithful as their options. In his time here, he’s never been good enough to attract the attention of anyone better than us, so can we really talk up his loyalty? I’d love the club too if I were in his position, because I’d recognise I was extremely lucky to still be here

It must be a miserable existence being so critical / synical / about most people that play the game especially your own clubs players .

Why would it necessarily have to be a team better than us? He has been loyal in the way that everytime he's had an injury he's got fit, knuckled down, and always worked his arse off to get back in (on occasions only around) the starting 11. Even during our best period between '15 - '18 he was an integral part of the squad wmen fit, starting some of our biggest games.

He hasn't sulked, hasn't moaned, hasn't shown any desire to try and move to a club where he would play every minute, he's just shown 100% commitment to get back out there. I'd say the only other players who have shown that with us in the last 5 years are Kane, Winks and possibly Son.

I personally wouldn't have Lamela in my preferred starting 11, but it makes my shit itch when people show him such a lack of respect.

Surely you mean Drogba

Depends if you mean JM title winning side in 04/05 or 05/06. Gudjohnsen played far more than Drogba in the former. I know they are all different but it seems easier to draw parallels between Kane and Gudjohnsen than with Drobga.

Are you aware of ANY teams that have come in for him? I’m not. Certainly no better ones anyway. I don’t see why telling the truth is now seen as showing a lack of respect. He’s just not very good as far I’m concerned. If he were, then we’d be talking about that instead of things such as tenacity, loyalty and desire to come back from injury.

Mouth watering if we can have these three fully fit together even for 20-25 games .

In regards to kane a friend of mine said he’d have vardy over him if he had the choice .. I responded with a laughing face , am I ignorant towards vardy or am I right to laugh off such a bizzare statement ?

Vardy is all about pace and power with one hell of a finish, I don't think anyone can deny he is a superb forward. Kane playing alongside Vardy is the stuff of footballing wet dreams, for me. A shame he doesn't feature for the national side. But i'd have Kane all day, as he offers so much more to his game and gives you the options that Vardy doesn't. In terms of assists, link up play and forward creativity. You have to set your team up to support Vardy's play style. Just my onions.

Anyway, If Bale is half the player he was prior to leaving, that front 3 is terrifying. I'd imagine most defenders would be experiencing some pre-match nerves.....!

Defenders won’t k ow how to Deal with Kane, Son and Bale .. last night Kane on for 20 mins changed the dynamics with the defenders, imagine how chaotic it would be with Bale in the mix of Son and Kane too!

Both Zouma and Tomori were so scared of him, they jumped for the same ball and left Lamela free to score.

This is it. Regardless of what they do the mere presence of Bale os gonna cause problems.
Its a bit like when we had Bale on one wing and Lennon on the other, they both had to be marked, almost doubled up on and teams were just scared to come out their own half. I remeber Man U coming to the lane and just sitting there. They shat themselves.

Imagine watching Ndombele run at you while you got Bale on your left, Kane next to you and Son on the right.

Should be fun.

For me the upgrade or difference between Moura and Bale is going to be immense even if we are not getting the 100% fit Bale he will still be an improvement on Moura .

Because he had a decent game and scored a goal (his 35th for us in 8 years) from 6 yards? That's all it takes to silence the critics now?

Nah because I knew you'd be fake happy/absolutely fuming when he scored, which means you'd have to come back to this thread and try and save face. ;)
