Literally just walked past him on a street with my boss, head of HR and several co-workers, and I flipped out a little and yelled 'Judas' down the street at him.

Bosses not impressed...

Care to elaborate more as in what happened after etc and why you may lose your job?

Perhaps he works on a building site and it wasn't the trade permitted wolf-whistle or variant on 'oi oi darling!' or 'show us your tits!'

Edit - too late, mystery solved.

He is a ****, but I don't think it was worth it. Especially if you lose your job because of it. :(

It's not like you racially abused him or pushed him into on coming traffic

It really doesn't help the situation that no-one else in the company is into football in anyway so there is no common understanding of why he deserved it and just how much of a **** he is.

hope you don't lose your job mate but would probably have done the same thing. there are some things in life that transcend the ordinary. at least you don't have to explain pulling out his entrails. (y)

As Sol Campbell is my favourite player of all time, Even wrote him a letter asking him to stay back in the day... Oh the pain of losing him but in reality you cannot blame him for moving up in the footballing world.

So sorry I had to dislike :sorry:

Never understood why Sol Campbell received so much hate, maybe it was because I was fairly young at the time.

He left us for a better team whilst staying in the local area. When he played for us he was surrounded by very, very poor players on the whole. He left us to subsequently play in the greatest team of Premier League history.

Good luck with your job etc

It's not just that he left us for them (which is bad enough), it's the way he did it.

We could have sold him for cash the summer before his deal was up but he lead us to believe he'd sign a new deal all the time. As it got towards the end of the season in which his contract was running out he began to admit that he may not and would look for a new challenge abroad (Inter and Barca were supposed to be possible destinations I believe). The season came to an end and he hit us with the bombshell that he's joining them lot.

Rumours are that Wenger was in his ear and he knew full well what he was up to the whole time. He could've gone to so many other clubs rather than stab those in the back that made him who he was (footballer wise at least) but chose not to. **** of the highest order.

The only good thing to come out of all that is that Levy now gets players to sign new deals ASAP and long before their contracts expire so we've never been stung like that since and it's helped us get top dollar for Modric and Berbatov.
