He is a good player, but my god is his safety poor. He needs to learn how to manage games better; he has everything else to succeed and start winning some tournaments.

He is in the same position Judd was years ago, safety was poor and wanted to go for the win all the time. Although since he has started working with Ebdon he has cut some of that out. I think he will be a decent player but doubt he will get to the levels Judd did.

I think Ronnie, Higgins and Williams still have a few years left in them yet because the standard isn't quite what it has been in recent years. The large number of chinese players banned certainly hasn't helped the sport.

Brecel getting shit lucky. Every shot he fks up ends in a snooker. Selby not playing well though. Brecels to lose.

That was a squeaky bum frame. Brecel will get there though I think. Still getting the luck with every poor shot while Selby is getting in trouble and not playing particularly well. All the more bizarre with the 147.

Didn't think we'd ever be saying Luca Brecel - World Champion, but fair play to the lad. Had a rollercoaster of a week really with how his matches have gone, but when it's clicked he's blitzed his opponent off the table and absolutely rammed home the momentum when he's had it and this carried him all the way to the title.
