I am worried that clubs around us and slightly below us are bolstering, and we are appearing to be happy with what we have. I am not confident in our front force right now

Join the club mate!!!!

I was worried last summer when we didn't get close to signing a striker

We struck lucky with VDV in August, otherwise we would have f**ked up that window as well.

I think it's time for Levy to employ someone else to conduct the transfers. In today's climate if you want a player, you just have to pay the going rate, and the wages, because someone else certainly will.

looks like our rivals are coming out stronger, while we are coming out weaker since we've lost a striker, and huddlestone, king and kaboul to long term injury

We have tried to sign players, but nowadays players demand in excess of 100k a week, which we can't afford. If we start paying one player 100k a week then we'll have to pay all our top-earners 100k a week, and it will begin to add-up. The major disappointment for me was that we didn't sign Suarez. Maybe Harry didn't want him or we handled the deal with Ajax badly.

Its been a disappointing window but we're still only 3 points behind Chelsea in 4th and there's still 15 games to go. We can still finish in the top 4, have faith.

the sense of ambition is fading.

I hate to say this with a passion but i think we need a new ownership. Doing things 'the proper way' can only get us so far. Money talks and gets you everything unfortunately.

We are a Champions League team, but i feel the team we currently have will be exhuasted by the time Milan visit and by the end of the season we may regret the way we conducted ourselves this transfer window.

I still have faith that we will get someone by 11pm though. I always have faith in Levy and my mighty tottenham

The people that keep saying that we can beat Chelsea need to put money where mouth is. I will lay any any size bet you want that we dont.

this is a HUGE disappointment. Lets face it, top 4 and the CL is the only way forward. Without the champions league, how long do Bale, Modric and VdV stick around. Its possible that we still get top 4, but it was always going to be tough. Now City and Chelsea have upgraded and we're already in 5th. Barring a miracle, we just took the first step in the other direction. Im depressed.

Frankly, I dont understand. If we have the money, spend it. If not, sell the club to an oil billionaire please.

Its been nice mixing it up with Europes elite this season bit i am confident we wont be there next season.. everyone else around us has strengthened and we've done nothing to prove the ambition we've talked about.. We could win the league Harry?? fat chance!! I really am gutted that we havent made the best of the opportunity we've had this season to cement a place in the top 4, u can talk about inflated transfer fees and whatever other excuses u like but we had the chance and havent made the best of it.. Rant Over.. que the slating.

Liverpool have strengthened too. Torres is a good player but on his own can't do it for them and seemed to want out. They have two fresh hungry strikers in now and will be more dangerous. They may just press us for 5th this season, but even if they don't, next season is going to be tough.

Hope is fading

it looks as if this will be our only CL outing for a number of years.
