I feel very confident about this one, with Sheffield United having lost some of their early season mojo. 4 nil to Spurs with a brace from Son and a lively sub cameo from Ndombele

I don't think this one will be as easy as some have been saying on this thread. We've been given encouragement by Chelsea and Leicester dropping points, we simply must capitalise, I'd take a scrappy one goal win if it was offered right now.

I don't think it will be easy at all, when was the last time a game seemed 'easy' to us? Actually to answer that, looking back at our results I'd probably say back in December, 20 games ago when we beat Burnley 5-0. And since then, only two of our wins have been by more than a 1 goal margin and one of those games was our most recent one.

Of course it's possibly but I'll certainly be more surprised than not if our win is 'easy' or 'comfortable' tomorrow.

Sheff 0 Spurs 9 shades of the classic game v Wigan (5 goals for Kane instead of Defoe) but without the terrible hand ball goal for the opposition that should never have stood! COYS!

Wow some of you are seriously sad individuals. You epitomize the "Spursy" mentality around our club. We have the potential to smash Sheffield out of the park tonight and all I see is pure pessimism and negativity. Losers mentality, this feeling is exactly what JM was brought in to kill off.

We have been playing very well since the restart and are much more solid at the back. I can't see Sheffield scoring more than 1 goal today, and they have been very shaky so all we need to do is score 2. I'm feeling very optimistic about this game. COYS

Not sure being pessimistic about a team that's been massively hot and cold all season is a reason to call people "seriously sad individuals". We've got an almost equal spread of wins losses and draws which says a lot about how unpredictable we've been.

On the other side, you've got Sheffield who despite looking off the pace since the restart, were still having a cracking season until the lockdown so you can't just write them off completely.

Not saying we're guaranteed to drop points but I can certainly understand why people are less than confident.

Home advantage means nothing nowadays.

Before the break, could not see us winning this, but how they have looked since the return means I see this as the second easiest game we have left (only Bournemouth should be more comfortable for us)

Would be surprised at anything other than a win.

Behind Closed Doors has surely affected clubs like SU the most. Without an angry crowd behind them to elevate them, it's tough.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

This place is going to be in meltdown if we don’t get a comfortable win given the amount of confident predictions of a win.

Gone for an away win with clean sheet, small glimmer of hope for us after yesterday’s results went in our favour.
Just need Man U and wolves to turn it in...

I actually looked at the league table for the first time in ages last night after chelsea lost. (y)

That being said, it still feels like is this isn't a real league if that makes sense. I don't just mean watching the games with no crowd but the whole thing. Like some sort of extended pre season tournament?

I don't know how to describe it properly.

And why are you so confident? Have you watched us play before?
