We are either blindly bidding on any striker with a pulse, or journos are making shit up

Don't believe this is true at all, we wouldn't spend such an obscene amount of money on one player.

And something about that being the exact amount of his buy out clause, if the club reject it he can buy out his contract but will have to pay the tax! Harry can help him out on that front I'm sure :)

Hmmmm..........I just cant see this being true.

If we have bid, its knowing that we wont get him and it is something for HArry and Levy to say to fans. "look, we bid for x, y and z but couldnt get them".

What are we going to pay Augero? £70k a week, £35k after tax? Surely he is on massive wages at Athletico MadriD???

Unfortunately, thats what you gotta pay these days and in MY opinion, it would be worth the money. Yes we have no idea if this player could settle down and adjust to English lifestyle but this guy is class. I would LOVE it if we signed him and if it really was that much, I think its money worth spending.

And on the Torres front, he wouldn't come to us... He'd be one of the last strikers I'd expect to come to Spurs.

Come on Levy my son, get us a striker. Please!

I believe this, as I believe that desperation has now kicked in amongst the hierarchy at the club.

It looks like Spurs do real life transfer business in a similar way that i play Football Manager, 'ah shit the deadline day is tomorrow, how much is in the bank? Ill just bid for every player until a bid is accepted, theyre all pretty good it will be fine'

Almost certainly not on a 5'7" support striker.

A superb player but very much this.

Would he be able to play up top alone?

If he partnered a centre forward where would we put van der Vaart?

I personally think i have more chance of becoming an astronaut than us signing Aguero.

He really is a league above us.
