I’ve renewed, after going to Bilbao I can’t not have that chance again. Fully expect next season CL Final to be on the cards.

Could be making this up but i am pretty certain ive read they are clamping down on screenshots next season. Following the UEFA ticketing app approach.
yep revolving QR codes and you can only transfer tickets to a fully paid member

Is it not a possibility to renew and let someone else use it?
I thought I’d try that last season. Ended up paying for games I couldn’t make. Not as much demand as you’d expect. Maybe this season would be better. Just a killer that it’s all or nothing. I need a break after 26 years but I don’t know if I’ll ever get back to it and if I do it’s unlikely I’ll be sat next to my mate who I’ve been going to games with for 30 years. It’s all my adult life. Don’t know any other way. That’s how they keep you signing up. I guess I’ll know soon.

I am assuming you can still transfer a ticket to someone who is on their network and they can hold more than one ticket on phone. Currently if one of my friends can’t make a game they send to me and I go in with my kid, he doesn’t have a CRN number

Nope. Pretty fine with it. I’d rather someone more enthusiastic gets it. Sunday felt like a chore tbh.

Going out to Bilbao would have been special but I’ll be happy enough going out for finals without a ticket.
I’m not sure my mate will appreciate it if I put someone ‘enthusiastic’ next to him…

Feel your pain Dougal. I had to give up mine after 20 years of going when we moved to the Netherlands for work 5 years ago.

You’ll miss it for sure and get FOMO during nights like Bilbao but it’s nowhere near as bad as you’ll be thinking now.

Get a membership, pick and choose when you go and enjoy the times you do go. Makes the times you do go much more fun. And just think when the inevitable sh*t home performances appear and we get the lack of investment from our Dear Leader you can just switch off the tv and do something you enjoy.

Well, I’m done. Almost cracked, but started the car for the journey home at 4.40pm and just pulled up. 5pm was painful.

Sorry @MattyP , you almost managed it the other day.

As a parting shot, fuck you Levy. You eroded every benefit I had of being a season ticket holder over the years until it was the skin and bones of a good day out. I walked the high road as a kid 40 years ago and dreamt of a season ticket to take me to old age. And just like the General after lifting the UEFA Cup, I walk away thinking ‘there used to be a football club over there’.
