I know what you mean. I went to more matches in that era than I’ve done when we’ve been good ( used to go to away a fair bit then too).

I was younger and more enthusiastic then though about the game in general, even though I shouldn’t have been considering we were shit and Arsenal were winning titles.

Also have a family now so less free time and money. I’ll probably still renew because it’s all I’ve known, but the circus that is the PL and Spurs shooting themselves in the foot for the umpteenth time may have finally crushed my enthusiasm.

For me is actually the price that will soon drive me away not the quality of football. I love spurs and earn decent money but the price is getting crazy

Anyone log in today and not have an option to renew ? No notifications etc

Yeah, I joined the queue, then got my email when it was ready, then waited another 20 minutes. Then when I was finally on the site, I clicked on login and it crashed. I think I'll come back later when the rush has died down

That’s the problem with the season ticket system. Fans that aren’t bothered about renewing but do so anyway to keep their place and sell the tickets on exchange or to mates is b*****s. Ain’t no chance of fans that are on the waiting list getting the opportunity to get one, because of selfish c***s.

If you’re not bothered about going, do the right thing and let others who’d give anything to be in your place have the chance.

Think the majority of the people who have one want one to watch the team tbh ! Also basically every single fan had the chance to get one about 2 years ago

No they didn’t, otherwise I’d have had one. I’m hearing Not just on here but elsewhere, people complaining about the price, the manager, the style of play, being done with football etc but will renew just because they don’t want to lose they’re spot and will just exchange their tickets.

Think people can complain and then still want to renew because at the end of the day no matter how much you complain you still love the club! I was like 65 thousand on the list the other year and I got one so most got offered

Then, you got lucky. I’m on the list and have been ages. Don’t take it personally if you’re not one that my post is aimed at.

That would be an obnoxious post at the best of times, but right now, when so many of us are gagging to go up to the stadium and watch a match in person, but are having to consider suspending our season tickets for a whole season because we would rather stay alive, it's a lot worse than inappropriate.

I completely understand your frustration, I was on the list for a couple of years and then managed to get one from the first Wembley season when a lot of new people were added. The thing is though that the new system of the ticket exchange is much, much fairer for non-season ticket holders. Under the old system where season ticket holders could sell for three or four times the price on stubhub, non-season ticket holders were getting robbed blind by season ticket holders using it as an investment vehicle. But that's no longer the case, and for most games it's possible to get a ticket

I disagree, it's easy to forget that a season ticket is a privilege and there are lots of people desperate to secure one. Must be frustrating to hear people whinging all the time (I don't include you in that because I've read your previous posts and completely understand where you're coming from in terms of the fear of renewing). His post wasn't aimed at supporters like you so I wouldn't read it as an attack

Having been an ST holder since the 90s I’ve almost always seen the same faces around me front behind left and right, bar maybe one or two seats amidst dozens. Anything that suggests that the vast majority of ST holders do anything other than attend every match they can is bullshit.

Not sure anywhere in my post was aimed at people’s season tickets being suspended due to health conditions, so don’t portray my post to be as such.
The fact is, and it is a fact, a lot of season ticket holders renew when they don’t even go anymore, because they sell them or exchange them per game for when they do want to go to a game or be regulars again.

Don’t agree or like what I’ve posted fine, but it’s a fact, that people on the waiting list have to wait and wait and wait due to this

Maybe those people should tried getting season tickets before we became good and attended during the dross times....
