So the next Vinny Janssen if we sign him then in your opinion?

Personally I've seen him play a few times and I think he's a fair bit better than Parrott, I think that comparison is wrong but I don't think he's as good as say Toney and certainly not as good as Gyokeres etc

Yeah could definitely see another Janssen style flop.

Re Parrott, if you look at their performances at equivalent ages, Parrott has performed very similar if not better than Gimenez considering he was at a much lower quality team.

Honestly, the way that Lankshear is firing it in this preseason I'd be more inclined to give him minutes rather than signing Gimenez or David who I don't think will improve us.

Watched a lot of Gimenez and David in the Cope America and they aren't the answer and we’d so much better off paying for quality.

Yeah he’s stronger than Parrott but he’s inferior technically and I think Parrott is a better finisher too.

His club stats have been improving year on year - granted, it is in the Eredivisie for one of the top clubs. 15 league goals (23 total) to 23 league goals (26 total, in 5 fewer games) over the past 2 seasons.

The finishes in his videos look decent enough, varied, despite the lower standard of defending and goalkeeping. With an Eze or Neto, or Johnson or Maddison, Son, Kulusevski, Werner even, and others laying them on a plate maybe he would be useful in the role. But i'd agree we could do better.

Hard to say as Gimenez hasn't played in the PL but Chris Wood is certainly a very solid mid table striker, would be annoying for my fpl as I have Wood atm.
