This is just extremely lazy journalism based on his lack of playing time thus far. Anyone who's paid even a little bit of attention to us will know that that is because he's still working his way back to full fitness from a long-term knee injury.

There was an article last winter (believe it was on whoscored but I'm not sure) that identified Sandro as the best in all of Europe at executing tackles while running forward, he really is an ideal DM for AVB's high-pressing game. This link is laughable really unless we have reason to believe he'll never be the same player he was following the injury.

Sandro must stay. I hope he gets backs to fitness soon as I believe him alongside Sandro will make our midfield too powerful for anyone...they may even start for Brazil on the World Cup Final next year. As good as players like Capoue, Dembele and Holtby might be in the role of DM for me Sandro is a stand out player and leader

Sandro playing alongside Sandro in midfield??? The January window is going to be all about investment in the THFC cloning program ;-)

I remember him saying in an interview that he'd like to play in Italy at one point in his career, but that was around the time he joined us, probably talking about other offers on the table at the time. Want him to taste success here before heading off anywhere else, but doubt that will be soon, even in the next few years.

Well if we could afford to let a player go in any position, DMC would be it. I'm sure we would make a tidy profit, but I'm sure he will not go in the next couple of seasons, and I'm also sure AVB and Baldini will have some players up their sleeves if he does.

AVB: I want to have a squad which can rotate and compete in multiple competitions and so have signed 2 players for most positions

Press: Spurs have too many players and some of them are occasionally injured, they must be selling them.

How did you feel about Bale....and Modric....and VdV.....and Berbatov....and Carrick...
Watching Bale last season was wonderful, felt proud to have him at my club. Same can be said about Modric, VdV and Berbs. Even had a man crush on the Dutch. Carrick was a good player, nothing special.

Sandro I love, end of discussion...

All of those players wanted to leave, for whatever reason.

Sandro loves it here.

That doesn't mean you didn't love them in their time here

Also - Neither Real Madrid or Utd have bid for Sandro yet, not yet fair to compare.
