EhVeeBee said in his post match interview it was precautionary so hopefully will be all good.

He best be fine. Otherwise going up against City away would be like going up against North Korea armed with a spoon.

We need him and Dembele back quickly, Hudd and Siggy were one of the worst CM i have seen at the lane in years.

Just watching the game again (I don't know why I torture myself), and Sandro originally called over to AVB to be subbed off at the 20 minute mark. Between the time it took him to go off he actually put in a couple full sprints with no limp to be noticed.

Hopefully Sandro was just being smart and it's a bit of a twinge and he will be alright. I'm thinking if not Man City he should be fine for Arsenal.

It's also funny, and I hadn't realized it at the time, but Wigan had absolutely nothing that resembled a dangerous attack while Sandro was on the pitch. The only thing remotely close was a speculative ball lifted up to Kone which Sandro cleared. He's so important to this squad, and as I stated elsewhere, has been our best defender this season.

Which makes it all the more galling that the crowd began getting on the lad's backs way before then

Gotta hope so. While he's in there maybe he can get Parker, Kaboul, Benny and Dembele to come with him.

someone said in the team thread that BAE is back training.
Could do with Dembele and Parker back as well.

Kaboul not as important. Good player, but if BAE then Vertonghen and Caulker with Gallas and Dawson should be good enough for now. Would have Kaboul starting with Vertonghen at the moment though

Regarding Dembele, surely the Club know by now if surgery is required?

This new training facility with improved medical and physio treatment rooms etc...supposed to reduce the amount of injuries sustained and speed up recovery times.

When do you think they will start letting our players use it?

I recall us playing Anderton and Poyet or Anderton and Acimovic in the centre, during the Hoddle/Pleat era

It was alright when we had the ball, but resembled a 'polo' when we didn't - the opposition would simply flood through the hole with nery a tackle in sight
