I fucking loved Sandro. He seemed like he'd be great banter on a night on the lash. A bit of a liability, and would probably get injured doing something stupid, but would be a laugh.

Speaking of injuries, that's what blighted his time with us, which was a shame, cos he was a player with huge upside and potential which was not reached unfortunately.

His career was blighted before it even got started when he broke both legs. He’d of been one of the best midfielders in the world without those injuries. I doubt we’d of had him long. Loved him as a player.

The question really should be, why can’t we scout and find these types of players now? They’ll be out there.

He was looking like a beast before he got injured. We have lost a lot of players through injury in this position that had great potential. Huddlestone, sandro, palacios, wanyama and we can add dier to the list too.

How many central midfielders have been crocked at this club over the last 10 years. It’s ridiculous!

criminal how short his career at the top turned out to be. Excellent footballer, quality bloke and I'd sacrifice my left nut if we could find another DM like him.

He probably had as many great games for Spurs as Victor Wanyama. Two players with many parallels for that matter.
