Either way is seems he’s good at both. The little I’ve seen him he seems more a CM than a wide player. Bit of a Schweinsteiger type.

IIRC, Pig-mounter was a right sided AM as a youngster as well.

Swap Ndombele for Skriniar is bad. Dier/Toby/Davinson are good and Hojbjerg and new RB will help him to be very good again. Would rather spend money not for Sabitzer but someone like Ricardo Pereira and that still would be very good team

He probably gets gametime at RW because he has a great engine paired with great technique. A bit like when Benitez played Gerrard in that position. His ideal role IMO is the sort of 8/10 that Jose loves.

With Sissoko he's a CM that got shifted to RW initially because he lacked the nous to play in the middle for Poch.

He’s got a great goal scoring record from attacking positions this season. Given his versatility, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s being considered as a winger / attacking midfield option for us.

Don’t forget Mourinho expects his attacking players to contribute defensively.

Can’t see it. He was so impressive when we played them this season, but even if RB are a bit tinpot he’s their skipper and they are a club on the up.

We already know we’re probably gonna be relying on sales this season, and I imagine Sabitzer will cost something not far off what Ndombele cost. Also there are other clubs that could offer a better wage than us, and we don’t even have champions league to offer
