There's suggestion in the reddit thread that he said to his team mate he was trying to do a celebratory whack in to the back of the net and just fucks it up. However if you see where he's running from in the replay he's clearly a right-back, I think he loses his head for a split second, forgets what day it is and with his defensive instincts tries to clear the ball.

I cannot fathom how he gets this irritated, especially when the ball isn’t even in fucking play.

I’ve played with some absolute morons on the pitch (most of whom are actually lovely blokes but seem to disengage their brain the second they cross the line), but none would do this shit.

The only thing worse than his idiocy is his hair. ****.
