Because it's nothing to do with Spurs, General Footy is where this should be.

why?

didn't dive, he slipped. Lost his footing on the pitch while holding onto the otehr player. Never a pen, just like this is never a Spurs Chat thread

That was as much of a dive as it was a penalty as much as this doesn't deserve to be in spurs chat

Was not a dive, all he did was reach out for the ball (or the player) with his leg and fell.
Not a pen but a free kick to the other team.

However I did not like his reaction to the referee at that point

yeah but rooney appealed for a penalty. rooney was tugging the cbs shirt

He appealed because the other guy grabbed him first. Soft penalty, sure, but the ref could justify it, particularly as Slovenia had already made several cynical pull-backs.

This diving shit hasn't got monotonous in the slightest. It wasn't a dive simple as that. Can't wait till some team has a ball over the line and the goal isn't given so that can be the new flavour topic of the week only to be forgotten about a week later.

Shirt pulling. Penalty. Hopefully a crackdown on those penalty area shirt swaps during corners etc.

Definitely not a dive from my side.

A harsh penalty, but seen them given.
