Not allowed in if you've been drinking??!?

Where you hearing this from?!!

Don't think I've been to a Spurs match sober since I was about 16... and I would reckon that's true for about 90% of WHL's adult population

And yeah, I travelled for 2 and a half hours each way and paid €5/pint to watch us lose to Boro at the start of the season, I know how you feel

Its hard to know the facts from the Chinese whispers. I have seen people inside the ground who can barely walk, yet have heard from mates that people being ejected from the ground that were only a bit merry and not really causing trouble. Probably being over cautious but so long as I get in the ground is the main thing. Don't suppose they won't deny entry If I only have two and not falling all over the place.

Does anyone else love going into Hotspur Cafe? Love the place.

I only know one guy who's been kicked out of a game for being drunk (drinking in the stadium is another matter), and he was REALLY drunk, and it was away at Stevenage with Cambridge...

Well, I'd like to get to know some Scers in the flesh, as it were. I'll be going to the Bell & Hare. I know Dougal likes to go there too. There are some others who tend to frequent it. I've met Stoof and jimbo and TSH in there (we had a rather drunken night after a midweek game last season. Well they did. I don't drink very much).

How about those who are defo going to the B&H who don't know each other pm each other (or PM me) and we can have an SC get together? We can swap details and tell each other what we'll be wearing or what we look like etc, etc.

I think it would be good to pick a place as it will be more fun altogether than all being spread out.

I must admit, I always thought you were Muslim though.

I dunno, thought I read it in some posts awhile back. Thought you were Iranian.

Anyways, hope no offence taken, thought it might be a good idea to find out one way or other.

I am Iranian, and I come from a Muslim background, but I don't call myself a Muslim. I believe in God, but I don't adhere to a strict set of rules. I try to live a clean and "sin"-free life, which I think is ultimately the point of it all.

And no offence taken.

Anyway, back to the point. I don't think it's feasible to get every SCer to come to one pub. We all have pubs that we prefer to frequent. I'm not a big fan of the Bricklayers, because it's quite small and I like a bit of space, which the B&H has more of.

So, once more, if any SCer wants to hook up at the B&H, drop me a line, with whatever details you feel comfortable providing. I'll PM you back with my mob number, so you can call me on the day, if you get a little lost.

I rarely drink before games and if I do its maybe one of two, any more than that and I struggle to concentrate. Its no wonder we get so many idiots who go to games but don't appear to watch what's going on on the pitch - they're all fucking mullered!

What's the Hotspur Cafe?

Yes
Gilpin Bell - huge pub (my old man and brothers are across from Oz for the game).
Yes - normally I would wear a smoking jacket and cravat. Tomorrow, I'm going to mix it up with jeans and a t-shirt. Madness.

I'll be going dressed as someone in Jeans wearing either the 80-82 home shirt or:

Yeah

Dunno where - my mate is doing a pub crawl from Silver Street at 10.30am onwards. I will probably catch up with him later on though. Unless anyone can offer me a better idea.

Nope!
