Woke up this morning and got straight on my phone and checked this thread, along with any ITK in the RO.

My mrs says. "Emotionally you invest so much into Spurs, especially during the fucking transfer window. You've got a probelm, leave it alone. You always say yourself that Spurs let you down when it comes to signing new players so just let it be. You know what would be nice? If you woke up in the morning and gave me a kiss and wished me a good morning, instead of seeing if you've signed some Spanish player every 5 minutes"

I told her to fuck off.(y)

now why does this sound so familiar to me? :p

He's on the Valencia ads for it

It's not unrealistic to expect he'd get 20 mins

How cheap is that too €5! Almost worth a day trip

Just to play Devil's Advocate, but who else would they put for Valencia to draw interest from people not from Valencia? Banega, Jonas? I mean, those two are good players, but neither are names that many casual fans would claim to know.

Yes. "Women are objects." Not exactly Shakespeare is it.

Sod it, think I'll do some work today. Might as well make a token effort and this Bobby sumbitch doesn't look likely today.

It's like he doesn't even appreciate that he heas the opportunity to be the first to break the apparent curse of the transfer banner. Honestly!

They put him on the poster for their game v Milan.

it depends on whaen that poster was made.

I made the banner for the transfer forum and Mourinho had already moved by the time it was used.
It could have been made weeks in advance

We had Keane as one of our players modelling the new kit before he went to Liverpool.

I wouldn't read too much into the posters of him on the website, and even if he trains on Saturday I would still say he will be our player.

AVB's comments are from the manager's handbook of how to respond to transfer speculation aren't they? It just goes to show that the ITK's are on track with what AVB is saying, we're negotiating and we're confident, almost everything is in our favour. I've been around long enough to know that isn't enough however, this is alot of money (our record) and we're talking about a hero of Valencia, both sides will negotiate for as long as it takes, fingers crossed

Over here perhaps but in Valencia they're going to be as well acquainted with Banega, Jonas, Parejo and Costa as Spurs fans are going to be acquainted with Defoe, Parker, Walker and Holtby

No he didn't. We had agreed terms with Villa and had offered more to Barca than Atletico had. Villa did say that atleti had done more in 3 days than other clubs had done in months, but did not say it was about money.

Criticise Levy by all means, but get the facts correct.

Facts are correct. Didn't mean it was the money. While Levy was haggling the fee, Athletico came in, offered the full fee and signed the player. Haggling slows the process down and lets other clubs swoop in.

I certainly wouldn't worry about posters and photoshoots and the like. We all remember Rafa leading our new kit launch last season.

I'm sure that Soldado won't be at Valencia next season and they know that.

I'm less than convinced he's going to be at us though.

Well officially he still had paper work to complete which kept him out against Sunderland. Maybe now he might play against South China tomorrow?
