Hi!
I'm travelling from Sweden to England tomorrow, and I'm wondering about the easiest way to get to White Hart Lane for tours etc?

I think we're staying quite near Oxford Street.

The tube to Seven Sisters will leave you with about a 10 minute walk to the stadium, or you can get an overland train to White Hart Lane station, which is just around the corner.

I prefer the tube on match days, but the train might be easier if you're going for a tour.

If you're on Oxford Street, take the Victoria Line from Oxford Circus to Seven Sisters. Buy a one-day travelcard, which will give you unlimited tube and bus travel. Take the exit marked 'High Road', not 'Seven Sisters Road'. LF's a bit optimistic about the 10-minute walk, it's closer to 20 unless you've got a very brisk step indeed (it's just over two kilometres). Buses 149, 259 and 279 take you to the ground.

Take a helicopter , it should cost around £500. Get them to drop you inside the ground as its difficult trying to find somewhere to land outside the stad.

Take a tube to Liverpool street and get a train to White Hart Lane. Unless you really want to walk 25mins up tottenham high road which looks exactly the same all the way along so you're not really missing anything....

Nearer to 25 minutes actually. Seriously, time it. I was at the gooner game (which I seem to recall we may have won) and one of the people I went with insisted it was a ten minute walk. We missed the train by 15 minutes.

I would get the central line from Oxford Circus to LIverpool street then the overground to white hart lane.

I wouldn't walk from Seven sisters, the place is a shit hole and not a nice place to be when it isn't a match day!! White Hart Lane station is 2 mins walk from the ground.

I've done it in under 20 minutes after a night game when I have to leg it to go Euston for 22:40
