A,legend indeed. I will never forget the picture of him having a smoke in the middle of training. RIP

Absolute legend, great childhood memories of growing up when he took Republic to two world cups.

Watched Finding Jack Charlton last night. Bought the DVD about a month ago and gave it to the wife as an early Christmas present as I was certain she’d buy it otherwise. But we couldn’t bring ourselves to watch it. Needed to be mentally prepared as we both loved Big Jack. Was a perfectly weighted documentary, giving us a real feel for the man so we could take the dementia in context without going full out as a dementia documentary. Heartbreaking stuff but we also got to reflect on the marvellous moments he gave us when at the height of his powers. RIP Jack, and thank you.
